Matching young talent with great opportunities is what the Monroe-Brown Internship Program is all about.
This collaboration between Southwest Michigan First and the Monroe-Brown Foundation delivers one of the nation’s most rewarding internship programs. College and university students get not only funding for higher education — $3,500 in scholarships in addition to wages — but, more importantly, applied career experience in the Southwest Michigan business community.
The program is open to in-coming juniors, seniors and graduate students who will be full-time students during the fall 2018 semester and attending Kalamazoo College, Western Michigan University, Davenport University (Kalamazoo Campus Only), Michigan State University, University of Michigan and second-year students at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Students attending Michigan State University and the University of Michigan must have graduated from high school in the Greater Kalamazoo area.
Eligible internships must be geographically located in Kalamazoo County.
